In my first article on Weeklymag+, I discussed the biopic Loving Vincent, which deals with the possibility of the death of the famous painter Vincent Van Gogh as a murder, for you.
Loving Vincent, a joint production of Poland and England, is the world's first feature-length oil painting film. The movie Loving Vincent, which was released in Turkey on December 29, 2017, was screened for the first time at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival on June 12, 2017.
This movie, which grossed 4 times its budget, consists of 65,000 paintings made by a professional oil painter of 125 people. How fascinating, right?
I would like to say that it won the 'Best Animated Feature Film' award at the 30th European Film Awards held on December 9, 2017 and move on to my comments about the film.
First of all, I have admiration and respect for Van Gogh, one of the biggest reasons for this is that he is a synesthetic person, as can be understood from the phrases in a letter he wrote to his brother Theo and the paintings he drew.
