Synopsis

An U.S. Spaceship lands on a desolate planet, stranding astronaut Taylor in a world dominated by apes, 2000 years into the future, who use a primitive race of humans for experimentation and sport. Soon Taylor finds himself among the hunted, his life in the hands of a benevolent chimpanzee scientist.

Excellent social criticism, there is so much truth in this film, I don't think that good or bad can be drawn here, humans have always been selfish, we never take responsibility for caring for our planet, we let ourselves be guided by ambitions and we invent absurd wars just for the sake of it. get a little power and in the end we put an end to all the good things we have, this film presents us with a civilization full of apes that prove to be far above humans, a race that despite its flaws have rules that they respect and are much more civilized than humans, throughout the film we can see how they have subjected the human race and how everything gets out of control with the arrival of people who are capable of thinking and have the ability to reason, that only creates fear, a Totally justified fear considering our background, this film has a great philosophical approach, it does not leave you indifferent, it makes us think about our erratic behavior, it is a mirror that shows us all the bad things in our society, a real slap in the face, the The performances are credible, the movie is enjoyable from start to finish, it is definitely on my list of favorite sci-fi movies, I loved it.
