It is all about expectations. Shazam is very good as a family comedy (deserves strong 4, maybe even more). It is engaging, heartfelt, really funny and stars cutie kids. It even sometimes reminds the Big (Tom Hanks movie). When it comes to its action/superhero side, it is rather trashy (deserves max. 2.5) All magical creatures, most action scenes are very weak (if taken seriously :D). But I like Mark Strong, no negatives against him)) Overall score is 3.5/5

Very very childish. Humorous, yet it lacks a bit of seriousness. This was a superhero movie I would expect to see when I was a child and I would be excited a lot, but for now I was waiting for a lot more from DC. Visuals were also week, even comparing to Justice league. Soundtracks were “superheroish”, and I felt a bit nostalgic of the times when first superpower movies appeared and they all used almost the same style sounds of magical, heroic and superpower. I also didnt enjoy the cast, the main actor was like a stand-up showman who was asked to take part in a movie. And famous 7 sins were portrayed by so many directors and filmmakers, and they always were shown as something bad but at the same time almost attractive, with every sin looking really dangerous, badass. In Shazam they looked like typical Lord of the Rings orcs, with no visual determination of each sin. Disappointed, very very disappointed as I had pretty high hopes for Shazam.
