Sorry not sorry, I liked this version better than the Hitchcock’s. Bright postcard-like, picturesque Mediterranean scenery surely beats the old black&white. Other than that ... Daphne du Maurier’s suspended stories were good at the time but seem pretty flat-plotted nowadays.

Sorry not sorry, I liked this version better than the Hitchcock’s. Bright postcard-like, picturesque Mediterranean scenery surely beats the old black&white. Other than that ... Daphne du Maurier’s suspended stories were good at the time but seem pretty flat-plotted nowadays.
