Killing Eve: The Best First Season of All-Time
Killing Eve is one of my all-time favorite TV shows, especially for its unforgettable first season. Created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the show’s debut season is a masterclass in television, with outstanding music, captivating camera work, and stunning European locations that give it a unique, refreshing vibe. The acting is exceptional and Villanelle, played by Comer, might be one of the most memorable characters ever created.
The first two seasons were so captivating that I watched them in a single day. The sharp script, clever plot twists, and Comer’s portrayal of Villanelle kept me hooked. The humor in the series, especially the dynamic between Konstantin and Villanelle, added a delightful layer to the story. I also found the relationship between Konstantin's daughter and Villanelle intriguing and wished there had been more focus on it.
The third and fourth seasons, don't want to talk about it.
Despite its later shortcomings, Killing Eve remains a must-watch for its fresh and unusual storytelling. And a tip: watch it in the original with subtitles to fully appreciate Jodie Comer’s incredible accent and acting.
Lastly, don’t take the MI5 stuff too seriously — it’s not meant to be a manual for professionals. Just enjoy the ride, and if you find yourself thinking a bit too much about Villanelle after watching, well, maybe you’ve got a little bit of a psychopath in you too.

Amazing series about secret agents who turns out are nothing like James Bond, assassins who cannot be killed, love/hate and obsession and russians who don’t speak russian. Oh, and apparently everyone in Russia even in prison and in villages speaks english :) too entertaining to miss!
