Synopsis

Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran, brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks and his rookie partner take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.

It doesn't have the essence of "Saw" it's boring and with a bad script, it has nothing redeemable, the villain of this film doesn't fulfill his role and Chris Rock can't be taken seriously in a serious role.

Other Saw movies were based on providing justice in society. This is based on providing police ethic in a corrupted police team. Actually genre of movie turned into a mix of detective, thriller and detective genre from horror genre. I don’t like it as a fan of Saw series. This film isn’t absolutely connected to Jigsaw or older Saw movies. Although it is still watchable.

It's really nice, but it doesn't taste like the old saw. It can be predicted from the very beginning of the movie. But still great.
