    One of the show's strengths lies in its ability to strike a balance between grim and cute. The introduction of the new hybrid characters and their quirky personalities adds a layer of charm to the show. While it may not be the best post-apocalyptic show out there, the emotional core and themes are strong and well-executed. You'll find yourself being drawn in by the human characters' struggles with demagoguery in the face of desperation.
